Esslemont College is Bahá'í inspired, and is guided by the Bahá'í Writings. These principles permeate all aspects of the College — policies, procedures, curriculum and school life — to provide a holistic method of education. Students will be encouraged to embrace the richness of human experience that other cultures and communities have to offer.

Underpinning the core values at Esslemont College are the central themes of the oneness of God and religion, the oneness of humanity and freedom from prejudice, and the inherent nobility of each individual and the contribution they can make to an ever advancing civilisation.
